What is Yunhai Bai Hao tea?

Yunhai Bai Hao is a green tea produced Menghai County, Yunnan Province. The tea area is surrounded by a sea of clouds (Yunhai in Chinese) all the year round. Tea Research Institute of Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences first produced the tea in the early 1970s. Menghai County is located in southern China, there are towering old trees, sufficient mist and clouds, mild climate, year-round spring, and abundant rainfall. The soil is fertile with thick humus layer. All of the above consists of the ideal environment for the growth of tea. Being Richly endowed by nature, Dayezhong tea is a superior raw material of Yunhai Bai Hao. The plucking standard of Yunhai Bai Hao is a bud and a leaf. After being rolled, the tea leaves are tender and tight with a refreshing aroma.​
