Drinking matcha

Matcha is usually prepared in accordance with the way of Japanese tea ceremony which requires we to follow a series of complex rules. The basic method is to put a small amount of matcha powder in the bowl, and then add a third cup of warm water and stir them well by using a bamboo scraper. In Japanese tea ceremony, strong tea is made from 4 grams of matcha and 60ml of boiling water; and weak tea is made from 2 grams of matcha and 60ml of boiling water. The frothy matcha is quite tasty and refreshing. Nowadays, although there are a few people drink matcha in the traditional way, matcha is made into a variety of exquisite food and enjoyed by many people.
